Dr Gordiev is a Shoulder and Upper Limb Orthopaedic Specialist with expertise in shoulder replacement, arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction and biceps surgery, the Latarjet procedure, rotator cuff repair, management of fractures of the upper limb, among other conditions.
She also specialises in management of elbow injuries, including biceps tendon tears, nerve compression, and surgery to the wrist an hand, including for ligament injuries, arthritis of the thumb, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, triggering & ganglions.
Dr Gordiev will triage referrals and prioritise patients needing urgent assessment and treatment. Referrers are welcome to call the practice to discuss patients who require an urgent appointment.

Dr Gordiev operates at National Capital Private Hospital, Calvary John James Hospital & Calvary Private Hospital. She is a Visiting medical Officer in the Orthopaedics Department of Canberra Health Services, participating in the teaching of Orthopaedic Trainees and providing surgery to public patients through North Canberra Hospital.
Dr Gordiev currently serves on the Committee of the AOA for Continuing Professional Development. She is a Director on a Board of a Canberra school. She was an AOA Board Director (2008-2012), AOA Younger Fellows and Fellowships Committee Chair (2008-2012) & ACT AMA Board Director (2009-2013). She was the joint Chair of the Calvary Public Hospital Orthopaedic Department from 2008 -2016.
